M.Sc. Biotechnology
Biotechnology is an applied biological science which includes other basic structural components of Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Engineering, Medicine and Microbiology. Biotechnology is a comprehensive subject which provide exceptional curriculum serving students with strong vocational and professional skills development. It also aims at training students in the field of Biotechnology such as Genetic Engineering, Agricultural Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Applied Microbiology, and Bioprocess Technology.
- Candidates must have secured 45% (40% for SC/ST) in aggregate with Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Molecular Biology / Chemistry / Botany / Zoology / Agriculture / Pharmacy / Chemical Engineering / Medicine / Veterinary / Dairy / Fisheries / Horticulture / Forestry as one of the cognate subjects at B.Sc., / B.E., levels.

In India, few big organizations take student only who have qualified any of the national level entrance exams like DBT BET, CSIR NET, GATE, ARS NET, ICMR JRF, etc.
