Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D)

• A pass in 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Mathematics or Biology.
• A pass in D. Pharm course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy council of India under section 12 of The Pharmacy Act.
• Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.

Clinical Pharmacist:

Pharm. D graduates are qualified to work as clinical pharmacists in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare settings. They collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy, provide drug information to healthcare professionals and patients, and ensure safe and effective use of medications.

Pharmaceutical Industry:

Graduates can work in various roles within the pharmaceutical industry, such as medical affairs, medical writing, drug safety, regulatory affairs, and pharmacovigilance.

Community Pharmacy:

Pharm. D graduates can work in community pharmacies, providing pharmaceutical care services, medication therapy management, and patient counseling.

Academia and Research:

They can pursue careers in academia as pharmacy educators or researchers, teaching in pharmacy schools and conducting research in various areas of pharmacy practice and pharmaceutical sciences.

Clinical Research:

Pharm. D graduates can work in clinical research organizations (CROs) or pharmaceutical companies, participating in clinical trials, protocol development, data analysis, and regulatory compliance.

Consultant Pharmacist:

Graduates can work as consultant pharmacists, providing expertise in medication management, drug utilization review, and pharmacy consulting services to healthcare facilities, long-term care facilities, and managed care organizations.

Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety:

Pharm. D graduates can work in pharmacovigilance departments, monitoring the safety of medications, analysing adverse drug reactions, and ensuring regulatory compliance with drug safety regulations.

• Conduct certificate from the institution last attended
• Migration certificate from the Board of the institution last attended
• Physical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner
• Blood group certificate
• Photographs: Recent colour photo with white background, of resolution 300-600 dpi & size 35 mm x 45 mm (P.P size 5 Nos.) & size 20 mm x 25 mm (Stamp size 5 Nos.)
• Aadhaar card copy of the student
