- Currently working on elucidation of molecular mechanism involved in induction of apoptosis in cancer cells by various natural derived small molecules. He is also involved in screening of natural derived small molecules to identify potent natural entity to target aberrantly overexpressed Protein pathway (PI3K/mTOR pathway and AMPK/STAT3) and DNA repair pathway enzymes to mitigate childhood carcinoma (Rhabdomayosarcoma).
- Working in unraveling the molecular connection with microRNA regulating expression of oncogenic and tumor suppressor genes in modulating the cancer cells.
- In collaboration with AH&RC, he is involved in establishment of tumour sample database by cumulative collection of excised tumour sample to analyze variations in gene expression pattern and functions of aberrantly over expressed genes and to study mutational status in patient tumour samples.
